I couldn't help but to cry when told of the young couple who lost their 14 month old baby today. A couple in their 20's from Bro. Mooney's church in Indianapolis took their baby to the doctor because it had a bad cough. They though it could be RSV only to find out that a virus had attacked the baby's heart. Baby Emma died just hours later in surgery. My heart is aching in grief with that family tonight and I don't even know them. I can't imagine going through such a tragedy myself. If I lost my baby I don't know what I would do. The grief is unimaginable. Tonight in prayer I prayed over Jaquelyn. I prayed for her safety and health. I prayed for the family who lost their little girl. I know time heals all wounds, but I also know a God of peace. I pray that He sends that peace their way tonight.

One of the advantages of working at a bank is getting off on all the federal holidays. I loved being off today.
I rearranged things in my bedroom to make it more baby friendly..... well, there's a story for that. I have a plant that sits in a cement vase on my bedroom floor. It has as a grass-like plant that hangs down. As I was dusting my dresser, Baby J rolled all the way across the room and pulled the grass. The whole thing tumbled over on her. Poor little thing. She has a little scratch on her head but she is fine. It scared her more than anything. The planter is now on an end table and out of little baby's reach.
I also finished my laundry and helped Jesse clean house. That's right ladies, Jesse cleans the house. Now I am worn out, but relaxing on the couch with Pablo. Baby girl is down for the night. She had a pretty long day with mommy because I play with her all day. It wears her out when I'm home..lol

Today was such a perfect day. I had to work, but I will not complain because I worked hard and got a lot accomplished. I have almost completed closing out the bank's taxes for 2010. It is a lot of work, and I do not have a lot of time to do it. I felt pretty good about what I finished today.
I came home to happy baby girl and hubby (who learned 2 new songs on his guitar this morning). I took the baby and we listed to him sing to us. He is really getting good. I'm impressed with his natural ability to play. After all, this is the first guitar he's ever owned and he's only had it since Christmas. He can play like five songs already.
I washed the baby's laundry and towels, fixed a big pot of chili and even got to take a nap.
My next project is to settle upon a place to take Jesse for his 30th birthday. I can't believe we are getting so old. I will be 29 this year. Unbelievable! His birthday is the 20th of February. The 21st is President's day and the 22nd is my regular day off. I will have a four day weekend!! We are for sure going to Pigeon Forge. I just need to figure out where we're going to sleep. I prefer a place with a great breakfast and 2 bedrooms. I really don't want to sleep in the same room as the baby. Every move she makes wakes me up. I like waking up only when she really needs me. So, if I had to choose. I would pick the 2 bedrooms over the great breakfast. Any suggestions?

I cannot get anything accomplished! I'm stressed out with end of the year tax crap at work and I come home a zombie. Basically, when I get home I get my baby and we play for like 3 hours. Seriously, I set on the floor and we play with everything. It is the best therapy. However, my laundry is piling up and there are no groceries in the house. I need a maid ASAP!

Good morning. I am glad that I am off work today. There is already approx. 1 inch of snow on the ground and I’ve heard that we’re getting around 4 inches by 4pm. It happened fast too! Baby J woke up at 3:30am to eat. At that time it was clear outside. I couldn’t go back to sleep so at 5:10 I decided to get up and make some coffee. I let Pablo outside so he could do his business and it was still clear. By the time Jesse got out of bed at 6:30am we had snow. As I said, I’m glad to be off work today.
Today my baby girl is 7 months old. She was born on June 11, 2010. I cannot believe how the time has flown. She has decided that she doesn’t want to crawl. Instead, she rolls to wherever she wants to be. It’s all fun and games until she rolls into a corner and can’t get out..ha. She has her daddy’s personality and looks quite a bit like him too. At 7 months of mothering, I think I might be getting the hang of things. Right now she is in my bed with pillows all around her because that is where the loud fan is. The morning naptime is the best because she sleeps for about 2 hours and I get to play on the computer. Thankfully, I washed all the laundry over the weekend and Jesse cleaned the house while I was at work yesterday. I have a free morning.
With that said… I’m going to post this blog and browse E-bay and maybe Etsy ;)
